Reviews and Ratings
I had high hopes for this hotel, as it was a birthday gift, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The rooms in the old building overlooked the main road and car park and were outdated, not very clean, and several things were not working properly, like the lights. It's a shame because I was expecting it to be the nicest one yet.
The hotel offers lovely rooms where dogs are allowed, but they need some improvements as they were tatty and not entirely clean. The service was pleasant, with friendly and helpful staff. The location is central but lacks charm. The dining experience was average, with limited options. Facilities need some attention.
The hotel offers a basic yet quiet and comfy room with a huge and comfortable bed in a very calm decor. However, the bed having wheels made it feel like you could fly around the room, which was a unique experience. The service, though not up to customer service standard due to ongoing repairs, had some bonuses like helpful advice on cocktail ingredients and local insights. The location, accessible and relaxing, showcased a quirky design but started to look shabby in the corridors. The dining was excellent value, offering a bit hectic but top-notch experience with exceptional staff. The facilities were undergoing repairs, but overall the stay was worth the money.
